You put together
your own schedule
At Nordjyllands Idrætshøjskole you put together your own schedule. You choose from our 50+ subjects , which span both physical education and electives. The physical education subjects are divided into four categories: Outdoor & Adrenaline, Ball Games, Fitness & Health and Lifestyle & Wellness.
The stay is divided into two periods. In each period you choose 4 physical education subjects and 1 elective subject . You only choose your subjects when you start school.
Each physical education subject is usually held twice a week, but this can vary from subject to subject. In addition to physical education and electives, you also have general college subjects such as morning assembly, group sports, lectures, current affairs and singing.
Classes are typically held between 8 a.m. and 15 p.m. After that, there is plenty of time to hang out with college friends, use the facilities, or join in evening activities.
