We have made a packing list with some of the most important things that we think you should bring with you for your upcoming stay here at Nordjyllands Idrætshøjskole. You can read the packing list in bullet form below. In addition, you will also find a checklist.
With it, you can be sure that you get the most important things here first. There are important things and then there are all the elements that are 'nice to have'.
Frequently asked questions
What happens during the intro week?
During the intro week, we focus on shaking you up. We have a lot of experience with this, and you will find that you open up more quickly than you might normally. This ensures that the great community that you will experience at NIH starts already in the first week.
There will be lots of games, practical information, sports, physical education, choosing subjects and much more. Finally, we will hold the first college party, where it will all be rounded off with a wonderful evening.
On Monday, your normal college week starts, where you get started on your subjects in earnest.
Should I bring a bicycle?
No, it's not a requirement. But we recommend that you bring one. It just needs to be a regular bike that can get you from A to B.
In subjects where you need a bicycle, we provide one.
What is the alcohol policy?
Alcohol can be purchased at NIH when we have parties. In addition, it is not legal to have or consume alcohol on school grounds. However, students are free to go to the park on a summer day and have a few beers. We do not interfere with that.
