Become a pitstop at North Jutland University of Sports
If you need to take a break from your higher education, you can get a discount if you stay here at Nordjyllands Idrætshøjskole. With us you get a break with lots of content. Here you will find a community of young people, and get a daily life filled with sports and physical education.

The typical pitstop here at NIH takes a break between bachelor's and master's degrees. But it doesn't matter when you choose to take your break. The only requirement to become a pitstop is that you are enrolled in a higher education program at SU.
19, 25 or 44 weeks at a sports college
We have two start-ups per year. A spring class of normally 25 weeks starting in January and an autumn class of normally 19 weeks in August.
Here you get ample opportunity to practice all the sports you love, and at the same time the opportunity to try new ones. We have 50+ subjects divided into five subject categories. This means that you can mix and match your sports. In the schedule, the subjects are evenly distributed. This means that we do not have lines, but four different subjects during the week, all of which take up more or less the same amount of time.
EVERYONE CAN JOIN
Our sports philosophy is that everyone can join, regardless of level. This means you can try out a lot of new sports where you may not feel completely at home. It gives you the opportunity to combine sports you know with completely new sports you have never tried before.

You can join us on trips to several great destinations. Whether you're looking for high mountains with snow or sunny coasts, you'll find a trip to match here with us.
