SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING AT COLLEGE
Does the thought of the white, freshly fallen powder under your skis or board excite you so much that you're ready for 12 weeks of intensive focus on your skiing or snowboarding skills? You can choose between self-skills or instructor training – and it's at a great price!
Price for instructor: 12.500*
Price for individual skills: 9.500*
*The price includes two trips to Trysil and Hemsedal, where everything is included. The ski trip to Contamines in France is optional (6.400 DKK) and is in addition to the price of the ski line. However, we recommend that you choose this option.

You will receive instruction that suits your level.
If the ski instructor training is not for you, regardless of whether you are a “Rookie” or a “Pro”, you have the option to choose “personal skills”. Here you will receive instruction that is tailored to your level. This is done with video analysis and sparring on how to develop your skills to an unprecedented extent.
Since Nordjylland Sports College is located in Vendsyssel, where the highest hills are ones that can be climbed on a garden gate, we will of course go on trips to areas where you can test and prove your skills.
The ski and snowboard line's three weeks in the snow are spent like this::
- Ski trip Hemsedal – alpine skiing, snowboarding or telemark skiing of your choice. Instruction and possibility of instructor training (skiing or snowboarding).
- ADDITIONAL OPTIONS: Le Contamines, France – skiing, snowboarding, testing your own teaching experience and possibly the possibility of ice climbing, biathlon, off piste and Valle Blance (23 km long off piste – Europe's longest). Read more about this here..
- Ski trip Trysil – alpine skiing, snowboarding or telemark skiing of your choice. Instruction and opportunity to complete the final part of the ski instructor training.
YOU CAN PARTICIPATE EVEN IF YOU'VE NEVER SKIED
During the weeks at the school, the teaching will consist of ample amounts of ski-relevant physical training, equipment knowledge, safety considerations, introduction to video analysis, etc.
You might be thinking: "I think skiing/snowboarding is really cool, but am I good enough to become an instructor?" Everyone who chooses to take the instructor training passes the K1 course regardless of their individual skills! In other words – you can participate even if you have never skied. (However, it is an advantage that you have snowboarded if you are considering taking the snowboard instructor course).
Your options if you want to work with self-skills (without instructor training):
